The best part of this convention is the wonderful people. This includes the OAC staff, people doing the various lectures and, of course, the attendees. These people make attending more like a reunion of your favorite people. As a bonus, lots of fun stuff to do, exciting and new information about treating the disease of obesity, and a chance to learn more about obesity from national and international experts.

There are people out there who are thinking like you think, you just may not know it yet. Being able to hear some of those messages and learn from each other as well as the health experts [at YWM Convention], I think it's the biggest gift. There's probably something you're going to connect to, and it will be life-changing.

The OAC Community has also been a huge part of my support system since I was first introduced to it in 2019. From the in-person and virtual Conventions to the year-round connections I’ve made with incredible people, I always feel a sense of belonging.
