Knowing how to take charge of your weight and improve your health is hard. Each day you see conflicting messages and ads for new products that make you more confused. The Obesity Action Coalition (OAC), a National non-profit organization, understands this. We are here to provide you with the proper tools to begin your weight management journey.
To help you along your journey, the OAC is pleased to host a Community Health Outreach Day and invites residents in the Denver area to attend our Community Health Outreach Day for FREE on July 21 from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm at the Hilton Denver City Center. The OAC Community Health Outreach Day provides access and exposure to proven products and services to help you improve your weight, along with the opportunity to receive a comprehensive Free Health Screening. This is an opportunity for local residents to visit a diverse group of vendors showcasing proven devices, products and services in the health and wellness industry.
Community Health Outreach Day Highlights:
- FREE Samples and Giveaways
- FREE Health Screenings
- Fat vs. Fat-free Mass-
Learn what percent of your body mass is fat mass compared to fat-free mass. Fat-free mass is everything that is not fat; from organs and bones to muscle and water. This measurement is best used along with similar measurements over time to ensure you are losing fat mass (and not fat-free mass) on your weight management journey.
- Segmental Muscle Mass-
This measurement can let you know how developed your muscles are. Measurements are taken from each part—or segment—of your body and the amount of lean muscle mass is determined for your legs, arms and trunk (chest, abdomen, back). Having this measurement done will allow you to compare it to measurements from the past or in the future to know if you have maintained, developed, or lost muscle mass.
- Total Body Hydration-
This is an important measure of overall health. If you are not well hydrated organs and muscles cannot function properly. Come make sure your hydration level is in the best possible range.
- Fat vs. Fat-free Mass-
- 25+ Vendor Booths
