Why Healthcare Professionals Attend
While our Your Weight Matters VIRTUAL Convention is geared toward patients/individuals concerned with weight and health, many healthcare professionals choose to attend to gain a better understanding of the issues their patients face and learn alongside them. The OAC’s Conventions are a great opportunity for healthcare professionals to learn more about:

CE Credit Information
The OAC will once again offer CE Credits for Your Weight Matters VIRTUAL Convention. Nurses and other health professionals can earn up to 6.5 CE credits when attending.
We strongly encourage health professionals to check their eligibility prior to registering to earn CE Credits at the Convention. As every state is different, you are encouraged to contact your state Board and give them the name of the class and tell them the course is Nursing approved, to confirm they will accept the course for CE.
When registering for the Convention, health professionals must select the ‘CE Credit Registration’ option for receiving CE Credits (which includes the additional fee for the CE certificate). Attendees can reach out directly to Taylor College at 1-800-743-4006 and reference the Obesity Action Coalition’s Your Weight Matters Convention.
*Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider number CEP-3285, for up to 6.5 contact hours credit.
