Continuing Education Credits for Healthcare Professionals

Earn up to 19 CE Credits at YWM2026
Healthcare professionals are an important part of the Your Weight Matters National Convention experience. While the Convention is designed to support and educate individuals concerned with weight and health, many clinicians attend each year to better understand the real experiences of the people they care for.
This unique environment allows healthcare professionals to learn directly alongside patients, hear lived experiences and gain practical insights that can strengthen compassionate, effective care.

At YWM2026, healthcare professionals can earn up to 19 Continuing Education (CE) credits while participating in a weekend filled with meaningful learning, conversation and connection.

Why Healthcare Professionals Attend
Attending the Your Weight Matters National Convention provides a rare opportunity to learn in a patient-centered environment where science and lived experience come together. Participants gain deeper insight into the challenges people face while also exploring practical approaches that support long-term health and well-being.
Topics explored throughout the Convention include:

  • Weight and health as a chronic disease

  • Nutrition and sustainable lifestyle strategies

  • Weight bias and its impact on care

  • Physical activity for diverse bodies and abilities

  • Current and emerging treatment options

  • Mental and emotional aspects of weight and health

  • Patient perspectives and real-world experiences

The result is a more complete understanding of how healthcare professionals can provide respectful, supportive and effective care.
