The Your Weight Matters Engage Convention (YWM-Engage), proudly brought to you by the Obesity Action Coalition (OAC), is the nation’s leading weight and health conference providing evidence-based education and practical strategies to individuals affected by excess weight and obesity. As a National non-profit organization, OAC is dedicated to elevating and empowering individuals affected by obesity through education, advocacy and support.

This year, OAC is hosting YWM2023-Engage, in Orlando, Florida, on September 21-23! The Convention will be held at Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek in Orlando, Florida, right next to Disney World, where you can expect three days filled with Education, Connection and Action! We’ll have groundbreaking educational topics presented by a top-notch lineup of speakers, including:

YWM2023-Engage is committed to:

• Bringing in the country’s leading experts to present cutting-edge, science-based information on weight and health to present dynamic and diverse educational topics on weight management, mental health, nutrition and more.
• Incorporating a strong fitness component, we offer an array of group fitness classes designed for all abilities. Want to try yoga, Zumba, or a lightsaber class? (We are near Disney after all). You can try them all (included in your registration).
• Creating a warm, welcoming community who have embarked on a similar journey with weight and health where you will make lifelong friendships.
• Conducting Advocacy Training where we will help you learn the skills to make the world a better place for people with obesity.
